Has anyone got any suggestions – MICROSOFT and all EXPERTS – anyone out there please read this and help me – its so frustrating not having this time-saving feature when researching. I have tried re-installing IE, I have tried registry cleaners, I have tried disabling add-ons, one at a time and all together, I have tried EVERYTHING that so far has been suggested – NOTHING WORKS. I have tried all the obvious settings things, please don’t suggest them as OF COURSE I have tried them. If I use Mozilla Firefox then the new tab feature works, but I don’t really like Firefox and want to use IE again. I am running Win7 Ultimate 32 bit and I have tried all ways to get it to work in IE8 and then I downloaded the IE9Beta and the option still doesn’t work. Therefore, to ensure full security when using IE Tab, the latest version of Internet Explorer should be installed in Windows on your computer and it should be kept up-to-date with the latest security patches from Microsoft. I am going crazy over wanting this new tab feature back – it stopped working for no reason. Although it does not open the IE browser per se, IE Tab uses the IE Browser Control core engine. If I right click on the link and choose “copy shortcut” then paste this into the address bar in the new tab, the info will download but this is time consuming. A new tab will open with a right click on “open in new tab” but it just hangs – no info is downloaded. hi, blackfishsoftware, the IE Tab add-on does not work with multiprocess Firefox (e10s). I have tried all the fixes listed on all internet problem solving sites on the net – nothing works to get a new tab to open the link. IE Tab 2 add-on is required to open Deltek Vision in Firefox.
